Train Explosion Rocks Dutch Flat

A Central Pacific train passing by the Dutch Flat train station had a catastrophic explosion at 4:30 a.m. Friday morning, the 22nd of July, 1898. Three people were killed on the train and luckily no one died in the hotel, saloon or ticket office.

I purchased the photo below on EBAY several years ago.   The location is just outside of Dutch Flat.   I remember a sign in Dutch Flat back in the 70’s that mentioned the explosion and that the wreckage was thrown up to two miles away.  Does anyone know if that sign is still around or where it used to be?  Does anyone have a remanent of the wreckage?
